I'm Hannah, the pen behind art brand Scrap Yard Dog

I'm a freelance illustrator based in Kent UK. After graduating in printed textiles at Brighton Uni, I wanted to design and print my own t-shirts as I felt that the majority available didn't fit my style, budget or ethics.

I work mostly traditionally with pen and ink, pencil, gouache and wax pastels. I enhance my artwork in photoshop keeping it as stripped back as possible and not overworked, as I aim to convey my vison instead of a digitally perfect image.
